There are many ABUSES AT THE BAR OF PUBLIC REASON, sometimes its because they are trying to persuade you of things that are not true or to program you with incorrect thinking so you are easier to manipulate in the future. (Ideological subversion)

The truth is everybody always had equal rights. Why not just say: Crime Victims Need New and Better Rights?
The criminal defendants rights apply to everyone. They are all of our rights, and protect all of us, all the time, because we are Americans and protected by the Constitution of the United States
The ad falsely suggests that Constitutional Rights are just for criminals and again strikes deep to destroy core concepts of our constitutional rights.

Lies and abuses in reason appear to be at the heart of Fox/Rupert Murdock, Putin, Bannon, Mercer, Trump, communication efforts.
They often mimic each other but some of the messaging aligns clearly and often exclusively with Putins interests. It often strikes at core principles of our society.
Bannon had the advantage of a deep knowledge of history including how people and governments have been subverted manipulated and used by fascists and others through out history. He was aware of how racism hate fear and war could be used to obtain power. He was subsequently granted some of the highest security clearance and set off into the world to do his deeds.
Over the years Trump developed a skill set as a showman. Its not clear how much was programmed by others. His skill set seems quite advanced, perhaps too advanced to result merely from his own self enlightenment
Bannon, Mercers, Cambridge Analyitica, and Trump use psycho metrics, for behavioral and attitude change. They also have to “maximize the volume” to get the biggest effect from racism, hate, fear and other issues that drive attitude and behavioral change
This model to win the election required a special skill set.
Bannon needed a savey skilled “show man” who could easily lie, change stories, contradict himself, insult others bully others, put on a show take outrageous positions all without showing embarrassment. But blatant obvious lies and hypocrisy were not tolerated among our leaders and the problem was how to acclimate US Voters to such horrible dishonesty so it could be weaponized.

Another group, consisting primarily of Christian social conservatives, has lauded Putin for his close ties to the Russian Orthodox Church, his denunciation of a morally corrupt Europe, and his crackdown on Russian LGBT activists. In response to Russia’s adoption of a law banning “gay propaganda,” Franklin Graham hailed Putin for protecting “his nation’s children from the damaging effects of any gay and lesbian agenda.”
American conservatives are not Putin’s only admirers in the world’s leading democracies. He is widely revered by European populists and radicals on both ends of the political spectrum, who cheer his hostility toward the European Union and his anti-Americanism.
But for conservatives in this country, an embrace of Putin means setting aside basic principles, including representative government, freedom of speech, equality before the law, and the proposition that history should be written by historians, not the state. None of these fundamental tenets of democracy is respected in Putin’s Russia.
Domestic abuses during his tenure have run the gamut, encompassing the assassination of political opponents and journalists, rigged elections, persecution of religious minorities, show trials in kangaroo courts, the rehabilitation of Joseph Stalin in state propaganda, and the arbitrary seizure of billions of dollars in assets from private businesses as part of a kleptocracy. (It’s fun to contemplate how Trump-supporters can make excuses for Putin while simultaneously decrying the the supposedly-outlaw Mueller investigation.)
On the global stage, Putin’s record is similarly unambiguous. He has invaded foreign countries to grab their territory, and provided critical military and diplomatic support for some of the world’s most odious regimes. Admiration of the Russian leader requires American conservatives to ignore the many instances in which his government has undermined American interests, menaced the United States’ democratic allies, and interfered in the workings of American democracy.

The New York Daily News helpfully reports that Erickson was the genius behind Bobbitt’s “international ‘Love Hurts’ tour during which they sold t-shirts and autographed steak knives.”
Butina also took advantage of Erickson’s links with the Christian right, as Slate’s Ruth Graham reports, though Torshin had his own relationships in that universe, having attended multiple National Prayer Breakfasts.
In 2016, according to a timeline compiled by the Washington Post, Butina emailed a Prayer Breakfast organizer to suggest that Putin might attend the following year. That didn’t happen, but she and Torshin attended. “A new relationship between two countries always begins better when it begins in faith,” Butina emailed an organizer afterward, thanking him for a gift and for the “very private meeting” after the breakfast. Butina was also part of a group that attempted to secure a meeting with the Trump campaign in May 2016 to talk about the persecution of Christians around the world, a topic of great interest to many American evangelicals.
Earlier, in 2015, Butina and Erickson also appeared on the radio show of conservative evangelical superstar (and big-time Trump promoter) Eric Metaxas to discuss gun rights and religious freedom — topics that are strangely congruent in the conservative Christian circles in which all these birds flew.
The affection with which many Christian right figures hold Russia and specifically the gay-bashing Putin is hardly a secret, as I noted in 2016:
[Putin’s evangelical fan club] includes some pretty big names, like conservative Evangelical leader Franklin Graham, National Organization for Marriage leader Brian Brown, and American Family Association spokesperson Bryan Fischer. In almost every case it has been his distinctive combination of homophobia and Islamophobia that has made Putin one of the Christian right’s favorite international figures. The cultural conservative preference for authoritarian Christian Slavs who are fighting Muslims has … carried over from the Serbs to their traditional sponsors in Moscow, and most especially to the former KGB officer who has revived Russia’s pre-communist tradition of militantly traditionalist Christianity.
So there is a U.S. religious constituency that very self-consciously supports Trump’s apparent interest in forming a new world order based on a Washington-Moscow axis, outflanking the decadent, secular, tolerant globalists of Western Europe.

The trio walked into the gleaming lobby and took the lift up to the executive floor. Their meeting was with Donald J Trump. For the men from behind the Iron Curtain, Trump was a celebrity capitalist. He was also, we now know, the target of an extensive spying operation conducted by Czechoslovakia’s Státní bezpečnost (StB) intelligence service – together with “friends” from the KGB.
The StB had been interested in Trump since 1977, when he married a Czechoslovakian-born woman, Ivana Zelníčková. News of the wedding reached the StB bureau in Zlín, the town in Moravia where Ivana grew up and where her parents lived. Ivana’s father, Miloš, regularly gave the StB information on his daughter’s visits from the US and his son-in-law’s burgeoning career.

The communist intelligence service in Prague stepped up its spying campaign against Donald Trump in the late 1980s, targeting him to gain information about the “upper echelons of the US government”, archive files and testimony from former cold war spies reveal.
Czechoslovakia’s Státní bezpečnost (StB) carried out a long-term spying mission against Trump following his marriage in 1977 to his first wife, Ivana Zelníčková. The operation was run out of Zlín, the provincial town in south-west Czechoslovakia where Zelníčková was born and grew up.
Ivana’s father, Miloš Zelníček, gave regular information to the local StB office about his daughter’s visits from the US and on his celebrity son-in-law’s career in New York. Zelníček was classified as a “conspiratorial” informer. His relationship with the StB lasted until the end of the communist regime.
New archive records obtained by the Guardian and the Czech magazine Respekt show the StB’s growing interest in Trump after the 1988 US presidential election, won by George HW Bush. The StB’s first directorate responsible for foreign espionage sought to “deepen” its Trump-related activity.
A former StB official, Vlastimil Daněk – tracked down to the village of Zadní Arnoštov, where he lives in retirement – confirmed the Trump operation. Addressing the matter publicly for the first time, he said: “Trump was of course a very interesting person for us. He was a businessman, he had a lot of contacts, even in US politics.
“We were focusing on him, we knew he was influential. We had information that he wanted to be president in future.”

In February, special counsel Robert Mueller handed down a stunning indictment against 13 Russians and three Russian companies for interfering in the 2016 election. The 37-page document laid out an expansive and well-financed influence operation to sow discord in the election and help elect Donald Trump. It included charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud, and aggravated identity theft.
To the surprise of many, there were no election-related charges. The reason is almost certainly a 2011 ruling by Brett Kavanaugh.
From the start, Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court has generated concern that the DC Circuit Court of Appeals judge, who has expansive views of presidential power, immunity, and secrecy, will protect Trump from the Russia probe if confirmed to the nation’s highest court. But little attention has been paid to a decision he wrote that already paved the way for foreign election interference and is making Mueller’s job harder—a decision that some election law experts view as sloppy and politically motivated.

President Trump is using the migrant caravan as a weapon to bash the Democrats. “We are about law and order and borders and jobs and they are about allowing crime to enter our country with open borders,” Mr. Trump said Friday.
He even blamed the Democrats for the caravan — while offering no evidence.
